As an MA (Hons) French student, you'll refine your language and communication abilities to an advanced level. The program offers exploration of specialized subjects such as French linguistics, literature, cultural studies, history, political science, and cinema. In your third year, you can participate in study abroad programs at one of the University's Erasmus partner institutions in France. Those who undertake international study gain not only practical teaching and tutoring experience but also enhance their language proficiency, cross-cultural understanding, and personal growth. The MA (Hons) in French additionally offers a five-year variant incorporating a mandatory year abroad.
