The MA (Hons) in Theological Studies offers a foundational exploration of Christianity's diverse theological heritage, examining its evolution from ancient times to contemporary society. Students will investigate how Christian beliefs are currently practiced across various global contexts while addressing the unique obstacles faith encounters in today's secular environment. This four-year program, administered by the School of Divinity, integrates three interconnected disciplines: theological theory, historical church development, and applied theology. Theology coursework examines central doctrines (including the nature of God, redemption, Christology, the Trinity, and creation) within their historical frameworks, studying influential theologians while addressing modern challenges to religious belief.
