The MA (Hons) in Geography is a four-year program offered by the School of Geography and Sustainable Development. During the initial two years, students examine global systems through an interdisciplinary lens, investigating the intricate connections between human societies and the natural environment, including humanity's growing impact as a geological force. The curriculum provides both theoretical frameworks and practical methodological training across physical, environmental, and human geography disciplines. First-year students must select two supplementary subjects alongside their geography coursework, typically continuing with at least one (and occasionally both) of these subjects into the second year.
