This program offers an in-depth exploration of Geography and Mathematics through research-focused study, enabling students to comprehend how knowledge evolves, progresses, and is revitalized. It fosters independent learning among all participants, emphasizing curiosity, precision, academic integrity, and rigorous thinking. Spanning 48 months, the course culminates in a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree. Like all St Andrews programs, it consists of credit-based modules, requiring students to complete 480 credits—typically 120 per academic year. The initial two years focus on core program modules alongside elective options, which may include courses from other Faculties. The final years deliver specialized, research-driven education through tailored modules. The first two years combine mandatory program-specific courses with a selection of electives, potentially incorporating interdisciplinary options. The latter stages provide advanced, research-oriented instruction within a specialized curriculum.
