In this MSci Oceanography program, you'll become part of one of Europe's most extensive marine science communities. You'll tackle critical environmental issues affecting our planet while examining marine ecosystems and oceanic processes. This includes chances to investigate some of Earth's most isolated locations. Progress from lectures to laboratory work to fieldwork as you learn at the prestigious National Oceanography Centre Southampton (NOCS). Our four-year integrated master's program enables specialization during years 3 and 4, letting you pursue research interests alongside field experts. You'll explore subjects including: coastal transformations from beach dynamics to rising sea levels, global ocean currents linking tropical and polar regions, and the physical/chemical factors governing marine life.

A-levels additional information
Offers typically exclude General Studies and Critical Thinking. Acceptable science subject are Biology, Chemistry, Geography, Maths, Environmental Studies, Geology or Physics. Where this offer is satisfied by including grades achieved in either Biology, Chemistry or Physics, a Pass in the practical science assessment is additionally required. You will be required to attend an interview.


A-levels with Extended Project Qualification
If you are taking an EPQ in addition to 3 A levels, you will receive the following offer in addition to the standard A level offer: ABB including two preferred science subjects, and grade A in the EPQ
