This bachelor's completion program expands upon foundational studies in Marine, Freshwater, or Coastal Conservation, offering a university-level education and collaborative research opportunities with field experts. You'll gain advanced knowledge of marine ecosystems and conservation policies while developing career-ready skills through GIS applications, data interpretation, and multiple fieldwork experiences. While most instruction occurs at BU's Talbot Campus, you'll spend at least one day weekly at Kingston Maurward College in Dorchester - a facility benefiting from substantial recent upgrades. The urgent need to preserve marine and coastal ecosystems grows ever more critical as human activities and climate change continue threatening fisheries and protected zones.
