This integrated audiology master's program equips you with essential clinical and professional expertise. The initial three years align with our BSc Audiology curriculum, while the fourth year enhances your scientific knowledge and leadership capabilities. As the sole UK university featuring on-campus audiology and auditory implant clinics, we offer unique practical experience.
Addressing hearing impairment, deafness, tinnitus, and balance disorders - significant health concerns affecting life quality - forms a core focus. You'll acquire skills to treat these conditions and assist patients while building academic, professional, and career-ready competencies. The MSci Audiology program covers both the biopsychosocial and technical aspects of audiology, alongside essential scientific, healthcare, and professional training for clinical practice. Hands-on learning occurs in our specialized skills lab and clinics, complemented by a 27-week clinical placement. You'll have opportunities to investigate a chosen clinical area and conduct advanced research in your preferred audiology specialization. Graduates emerge as fully qualified clinical audiology specialists.
