This is a focused integrated master's program encompassing various advanced naval architecture subjects. You'll receive a comprehensive mechanical engineering education with an emphasis on maritime applications, exploring areas such as design, mechanics, and hydrodynamics to prepare for diverse scientific careers. The MEng Ship Science program examines the creation, building, and evaluation of vessels and offshore structures, which may serve transportation, leisure, or resource extraction purposes. You'll master fundamental naval architecture concepts and marine vehicle principles, with opportunities to specialize later through one of six tracks: Advanced Computational Engineering, Marine Engineering and Autonomy, Naval Architecture, International Naval Architecture, Ocean Energy and Offshore Engineering, or Yacht and High Performance Craft.
