Students can pursue this qualification either part-time or full-time, with the course encompassing all core subjects mandated by the Bar Standards Board for professional accreditation as solicitors or barristers in England and Wales. Career preparation forms the cornerstone of our approach. USW students gain hands-on experience through our acclaimed Legal Advice Clinic, where every participant develops practical skills directly transferable to legal practice. Our extensive industry partnerships bring leading professionals to campus as guest lecturers, offering real-world insights into your studies. This program cultivates both comprehensive legal knowledge and transferable skills for diverse career paths, whether in legal practice or alternative professions. After completing your LLB, you may opt for our LLM Professional Practice (SQE) to prepare for the Solicitors Qualifying Exam or progress to the Barristers Training Course. Beyond academics, join our active Student Law Society for networking, sports, and social events. From first year onward, students can participate in mooting exercises and competitions. A law degree remains one of the most versatile qualifications, with graduates prized for their analytical reasoning, clear communication, and evidence-based problem-solving abilities. This program serves as the foundation for aspiring solicitors and barristers while opening doors to numerous professional opportunities.
