The Sports Coaching and Development (Top Up) program builds upon your Foundation Degree knowledge, equipping you for diverse roles in coaching, teaching, and sports development. This course blends sport-specific and business expertise to cultivate skilled professionals for the sports sector, allowing you to refine your learning and tailor practical experience to your career goals. As a natural next step from the FdSc Sports Coaching and Development program offered at Partner Club hubs (EFL Trust, Wigan Warriors, or Cardiff Blues) or Partner Colleges (Merthyr or Coleg Gwent), this BSc (Hons) degree opens doors to careers as Community Sports Coaches, Sports Development Officers, Leisure industry professionals, Sports Managers, or entrepreneurs. Graduates may also pursue additional qualifications needed for Primary or Secondary School Teaching positions.

Qualification Requirements
The successful completion of an appropriate Foundation Degree or equivalent. USW considers all applications on an individual basis which means that we could make offers based on qualifications, personal profile and experience.
IELTS with an overall score of 6.0 with at least 5.5 in each component. Please note that for those students who do not require a UKVI SELT, USW will also be able to accept the IELTS at-home test when it becomes available
TOEFL iBT with a score of 72 overall and a minimum of 18 in reading, 17 in listening, 20 in speaking and 17 in writing (including Home Edition)
