This program is designed to provide dental graduates with the knowledge, technical abilities, professional attitudes, and clinical proficiency needed to practice as specialist orthodontists handling various malocclusion cases. You'll cultivate evidence-based and analytical methodologies crucial for success in orthodontic practice.
The curriculum covers diagnosis and management of common orthodontic conditions, while emphasizing orthodontics' role in formulating complete treatment strategies for individual cases. You'll also enhance your critical evaluation skills through assessment of dental research literature.
A substantial portion of your training will involve patient care at the Orthodontic Department of Charles Clifford Dental Hospital or affiliated clinical centers where you may be placed.
Throughout the program, you'll participate in interdisciplinary clinics with specialties including Restorative Dentistry, Oral Surgery/Maxillofacial Surgery, and Pediatric Dentistry at appropriate stages.
