The program's foundation year offers students with non-traditional qualifications comprehensive academic preparation to excel in degree-level studies within the Philosophy Department. After successfully finishing this preparatory year, students will advance to the BA in Philosophy, Religion and Ethics.

Be 21 or over
A minimum GCSE grade D/3 in Mathematics (or equivalent) may also be required. A GCSE grade C/4 may be required for some science programmes.
IELTS - Overall score of 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component, TOEFL - Overall score of 80 with a minimum of 17 in Listening, 18 in Reading, 20 in Speaking and 17 in Writing, Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic, PTE Academic UKVI - Overall score of 56 with a minimum of 51 in each component.
