The foundation year of this program offers students with non-traditional qualifications comprehensive academic preparation to ensure their success in degree-level studies within the School of Languages and Cultures. After completing the foundation year, students will advance to the BA Modern Language and Culture program.
This preparatory year is thoughtfully structured to boost your confidence, cultivate key academic and learning skills, and deliver specialized subject knowledge crucial for achievement. Be 21 or over
A minimum GCSE grade D3 in Mathematics or equivalent may also be required A GCSE grade C4 may be required for some science programmes
IELTS - Overall score of 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component, TOEFL - Overall score of 80 with a minimum of 17 in Listening, 18 in Reading, 20 in Speaking and 17 in Writing, Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic, PTE Academic UKVI - Overall score of 56 with a minimum of 51 in each component.
