Starting from beginner level, you'll master both Chinese and Japanese while exploring Chinese society through courses on history, culture, and politics. Your studies will include a year abroad at Nanjing University in China.

Elective courses allow you to examine East Asia as a whole, placing Chinese topics within regional and global frameworks. You can also select modules focusing on modern Japan, covering aspects of its history, society, and political landscape.

This program exclusively accepts Japanese beginners. Applicants with qualifications beyond GCSE level in Japanese cannot be accommodated.
