Our university ranks among London's top three institutions for education research excellence (REF 2021), showcasing our faculty's world-renowned expertise. The Lead Partner Route, a government-backed program, aims to position schools as the focal point of Initial Teacher Education (ITE). In collaboration with the University of Roehampton, our partner schools play a primary role in recruiting teacher candidates and shaping the training curriculum. This pathway welcomes all qualified graduates, with applications submitted directly to participating schools or school alliances rather than to Roehampton. Secondary teaching candidates in eligible subjects receive financial bursaries.
