You'll participate in an innovative dual-field curriculum, acquiring essential competencies to excel as both an Adult Nurse and Mental Health Nurse.
Our program offers flexible learning pathways guided by experienced clinical educators in state-of-the-art facilities, complemented by diverse clinical placements. Comprehensive support systems will help you attain both academic excellence and professional growth.
Graduates qualify to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) with dual qualifications in Adult Nursing and Mental Health Nursing.
The curriculum balances classroom instruction with hands-on clinical training across various settings, including our Clinical Simulation Center (CSC).
Theoretical learning incorporates interactive lectures, seminars, collaborative projects, self-directed study, digital resources, reflective exercises, and varied assessments. In your final year, you'll complete an independent research project to enhance your analytical capabilities.
Practical training occurs through diverse placements in mental health services (including community teams and inpatient units) and adult nursing environments (such as primary care, community nursing, hospices, residential care, and hospital settings). Clinical and academic mentors will provide ongoing supervision and evaluation throughout your placements.
