This program invites students to explore theoretical concepts, policies, and practical applications within both global and local settings. Featuring an international perspective, it attracts professionals with substantial experience in supporting children and young people facing learning challenges, disabilities, socioeconomic disadvantages, or other special requirements—whether through direct teaching, assistance programs, policy development, advisory roles, or leadership positions.
The MA program integrates diverse academic perspectives and methodologies related to inclusion, special educational needs, and disability studies. It is fundamentally grounded in principles of human rights, social justice, and equality, while actively opposing deficit-focused interpretations of differences (including the medicalized view of disability).
