This program offers hands-on experience in cutting-edge laboratories, opportunities for domestic and international field excursions, and the chance to lead an independent research initiative. Our curriculum features engaging courses like Chemistry of Life, where students perform laboratory investigations into cellular structures, evolutionary processes, and biochemical mechanisms; Comparative Zoology, which examines vertebrate anatomy, physiological systems, and developmental biology; and The Brain in Health and Disease, providing in-depth exploration of neural science and contemporary breakthroughs in neurological studies.

The initial phase of your studies will cover fundamental biological concepts such as cellular processes, ecological systems, evolutionary theory, and comprehensive surveys of major animal and plant classifications. You'll examine human biochemistry and physiology while making comparative analyses with other organisms, while simultaneously honing critical evaluation techniques for interpreting both laboratory findings and field observations.
