Biology explores both the commonalities and variations among living organisms. You'll cultivate an interest in plant and animal sciences while gaining comprehensive knowledge in cellular and molecular biology, along with access to diverse modules ranging from marine ecology to medical genetics. The BSc Biology (with Foundation Year) integrates a preparatory year with a three-year honors degree, forming a cohesive four-year curriculum. This program offers an outstanding introduction to university-level science education, equipping you with the essential knowledge, abilities, and confidence for degree studies. The Foundation Year option is perfect for applicants who narrowly miss entry requirements for the three-year degree or would benefit from additional preparatory study in scientific subjects. Upon successfully completing the Foundation Year, you'll advance to Year 1 of the Biology degree. At Bangor University, you'll learn from dedicated faculty and have access to the institution's wide-ranging student support services and resources. Placement Year and International Experience Year options are available.
