Our BA Honors program in Philosophy, Religion, and Ethics encourages you to examine fundamental existential questions. What gives life purpose? How should we approach our duties toward others and the environment? What insights can we gain from historical philosophical and religious traditions? How should we evaluate logical proofs regarding divine existence? What connections exist between belief systems (or lack thereof) and cultural, social, and political structures?
The curriculum includes dedicated courses in philosophy, religion, and ethics while also examining their intersections. This approach incorporates diverse worldviews including Christian, Islamic, Jewish, Hindu, and Buddhist traditions alongside secular perspectives like humanism and atheism. The program equally covers both analytical and continental philosophical traditions.
