Our PhD program offers three-year full-time or four-to-six-year part-time pathways, available either on-campus in Reading or through distance learning. Throughout your doctoral journey, you'll have numerous platforms to share your research, including our annual PGR Presentation Day, internal Work-in-Progress seminars, and the Graduate School Conference. A dedicated research fund supports conference participation and presentations beyond our institution.
Your first year includes specialized research methods training within the Law School, complemented by professional development courses from the Graduate School's Reading Researcher Development Programme, equipping you with valuable transferable skills.
