Our MSc by Research in Pharmacy Practice serves as excellent preparation for PhD candidates and pharmacists seeking to integrate research with professional practice.
The School of Pharmacy maintains robust partnerships with healthcare practitioners and the NHS, fostering a cooperative research environment ideal for pursuing an MSc by Research. Our research achieves 97% international recognition (Research Excellence Framework [REF] 2021, combining 4, 3 and 2 submissions in Allied Health Professions, Dentistry, Nursing and Pharmacy).
The University of Reading provides cutting-edge facilities designed to enhance student learning and research capabilities. These include: Clinical Skills Suite - featuring modern teaching spaces, consultation rooms, and diagnostic equipment for blood pressure, glucose, and cholesterol testing; Pharmacy Practice Rooms - a simulated dispensing environment with specialized software for prescription and dispensing practice; Analytical Resources - offering access to statistical software (SPSS, NVivo, MindManager, EndNote) and support from our Statistical Advisory Service.
