Focus on mastering a single language or blend two to three languages while deepening your understanding of their related cultures. Our BA Modern Languages program helps you achieve fluency in your selected language(s) while refining your cross-cultural competencies.
You can begin these primary languages at beginner, intermediate, or advanced levels. Core language studies include both linguistic courses and cultural modules that explore the societies where these languages are spoken, covering everything from literature and film to history, politics, and linguistics. The quantity of cultural modules varies based on whether you concentrate on one language or combine multiple core languages.
