Enhance your creative writing abilities while gaining extensive film expertise and critical analysis skills through our BA Creative Writing and Film program.
Collaboratively taught by the Department of English Literature and the Department of Film, Theatre and Television, this course enables you to:
refine your writing craft in intimate workshop settings
study cinema from multiple perspectives: as mass entertainment, academic subject, and artistic medium
potentially acquire hands-on film production experience.
Creative writing and film studies naturally complement each other. Analyzing cinematic works and artistic decisions will strengthen your own writing practice. Elective practical modules can improve your skills in crafting engaging stories and characters.
