Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based approach for managing depression, anxiety, stress, and phobias by examining how individuals interpret events. It focuses on recognizing and modifying unhelpful thought patterns that influence behavior.
You'll explore current CBT methodologies and their practical application, supported through professional workshops, supervision sessions, and networking opportunities. Additionally, you'll undertake a research project aligned with your professional goals.
Designed for working professionals, the course features weekly classes (one day per week), six Saturday workshops, and occasional evening/weekend events to accommodate your schedule.
Graduates can pursue roles as cognitive behavioural therapists across diverse sectors including education, law enforcement, corrections, or nonprofit organizations. The advanced training equips you to handle more complex client cases effectively.
