Our BA (Hons) Childhood with Therapeutic Play degree focuses on working with children across diverse environments, emphasizing therapeutic play techniques. This program ideally equips students to provide therapeutic support for children and adolescents in specialized SEND environments, assist those facing social-emotional or mental health difficulties in mainstream schools, or pursue advanced training to qualify as certified Play Therapists. The curriculum combines academic knowledge with hands-on professional experience, bridging theoretical concepts with practical therapeutic applications.

Students will explore a dynamic selection of modules tailored to deepen their comprehension of child development and enhance therapeutic competencies. As a key component of our BA (Hons) Childhood with Therapeutic Play program, participants will complete valuable practical placements in real-world settings.
