The experiences we have during childhood and adolescence significantly shape our decisions and societal perceptions. In this Childhood and Youth Studies with Criminology program, you'll examine challenges faced by 8-18 year olds while studying the justice system's role and crime's root causes - including how these disciplines intersect. Taught by research academics and field practitioners, you'll concentrate on youth development, education, and social connections while analyzing intricate policies, societal expectations, and practices affecting young lives. You'll develop expertise for meaningful careers supporting youth across multiple environments, from intervention programs to justice systems and social services.
Full Time - 4 years sandwich format includes optional work placement.
