Crossmodal perception - examining how taste, smell, and texture combine to create flavor experiences
Studying perceptual differences among individuals, such as High Sweet Likers, Supertasters, and Thermal tasters
Assessing emotional reactions to sensory characteristics
Employing digital tools (like Virtual Reality) to study how context influences product assessment
Exploring eco-conscious consumer habits
Applying fMRI technology to study flavor and taste perception
Our PhD/MPhil/MRes program offers a strong theoretical foundation for sensory science's interdisciplinary nature. You will:

Learn to analyze scientific literature critically
Design sensory experiments and interpret resulting data
Gain hands-on research experience while building independent investigation skills
