Our team brings broad global expertise in applied bioethics research, biotechnology evaluation, and the sociology of scientific and technological advancements. Our work receives funding from prominent organizations including the Wellcome Trust, Leverhulme Trust, European Union, BBSRC, and various national research councils and charitable foundations. The bioethics unit collaborates extensively with colleagues throughout the University of Nottingham, particularly within the School of Veterinary Medicine and Science and the School of Sociology and Social Policy.
We specialize in facilitating interdisciplinary research on practical ethical issues and helping students from diverse academic backgrounds make successful transitions into bioethics studies.
