A doctoral degree (PhD) represents the highest level of postgraduate education. This prestigious qualification is granted after completing guided academic research, defending the work orally, and submitting a final dissertation. The Master of Philosophy (MPhil), though narrower in focus and depth, demands comparable research training and culminates in a thesis submission.
The MPhil program, while less extensive than a PhD, follows parallel research methodologies and evaluation through thesis presentation. Our institution maintains a strong dedication to advancing and examining educational equity and social justice. We foster a vibrant research community comprising over 300 international students from 40 nations. While some reside and study in the UK, others participate from various global locations, visiting periodically for supervisory meetings.
