Through hands-on lab projects, both individual and team-based, you'll apply your mathematical, analytical, and technical abilities to solve real-world challenges.Your third year involves an industry placement. You may select from approved opportunities or arrange your own with a suitable employer. While on placement, you maintain full student status with ongoing support from university tutors.All first-year students in our department follow the same foundational curriculum, with flexibility to switch specializations until the second year's third semester. Options to include or remove study abroad and industry placement years remain available after enrollment.
