This program provides the chance to blend your creativity, mathematical abilities, and specialized expertise to enhance modern industrial processes. Mechanical engineering is crucial across various sectors such as aerospace, production, healthcare, sustainable energy, and motorsports. Nearly every aspect of daily life benefits from mechanical engineering advancements, from transportation to food production methods. Alongside classroom instruction, you'll utilize cutting-edge research labs featuring robotic systems and additive manufacturing technologies. Your learning will extend to practical applications through both solo and collaborative projects. The mechanical and manufacturing engineering disciplines follow the same curriculum for the initial two years, covering core engineering principles and design concepts. Specialization in mechanical engineering occurs during the third year. The program offers both Bachelor's (BEng) and Master's (MEng) degree options, with potential progression to the MEng after year two based on academic performance. The four-year structure includes an optional industrial placement in the third year.
