Our PhD/MPhil Nursing program allows you to pursue a research initiative aimed at advancing nursing knowledge. This graduate research opportunity in nursing provides students with the chance to collaborate with globally recognized experts conducting groundbreaking studies that impact healthcare and social services. We especially encourage applications from professionals across all healthcare and social service fields who wish to investigate related topics. The PhD curriculum includes: expert guidance from two qualified supervisors who will support candidates throughout their research journey, ensuring academic goals are achieved and proper training is delivered, development of research and professional skills, optional coursework in fundamental research methodologies (to be determined with supervisors), self-directed learning, and access to an advisor for personal support.

Qualification Requirements

An honours degree (minimum Upper Second (2:1)) or the overseas equivalent in a relevant subject AND a very good MSc/MPhil/MRes degree from a recognised institution OR satisfactory work at postgraduate level (which must include some research training) undertaken for the equivalent of at least one year full-time. We require a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 overall or TOEFL iBT 90. For each of the components of the English test you should meet the minimum requirement of 6.0 (IELTS) or 22 (iBT).
