Our PhD/MPhil Genetics program allows you to pursue a research initiative aimed at advancing knowledge in Genetics. Genetic researchers investigate how biological data is copied, transferred, or modified, and its impact on organism traits, populations, and evolutionary processes. Contemporary techniques and analytical methods are employed to examine both simple and complex biological systems. Molecular genetics and genomics research explores gene organization and regulation in shaping observable characteristics. Inheritance genetics examines gene transmission and expression across generations, while evolutionary and population genetics investigates gene behavior and variation among populations throughout time. Research domains encompass: regulatory processes in gene expression inherited diseases growth-related genetics genome architecture chromosome configuration reproductive biology behavior-influenced genetics demographic and statistical biology environmental and evolutionary genetics computational inheritance and evolution modeling.
