Our research focuses on how cells react to DNA damage and its connections to cancer and various human diseases. You'll join an energetic, team-oriented setting equipped with diverse tools ranging from microscopes to DNA sequencers and mass spectrometers. Current funding sources include: Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council, Cancer Research UK, Medical Research Council, and The Wellcome Trust.
We offer both PhD and MPhil study options, which vary in duration and research scope.
A PhD requires significant original contributions to your field of study.
An MPhil involves independent research with less depth than a PhD, culminating in a Master of Philosophy degree. There may be opportunities to transition from an MPhil to a PhD during your studies.
