Your thesis will be developed with support from two academic supervisors. Your research panel (comprising both supervisors and an independent reviewer) will assess your progress through scheduled meetings. This program is designed to foster your growth as an autonomous researcher. You'll have opportunities to present your findings at academic conferences, seminars, and through publications in reputable journals.
The program concludes with an 80,000-word doctoral dissertation that offers novel insights to Museum Studies. As a postgraduate researcher in Art History and Cultural Practices, you'll become part of a dynamic academic environment, participating in research seminars and special events including the Visiting Pilkington Professor lectures and Whitworth Studies series.
