The PGCE Secondary (Spanish) program prepares you to teach Spanish to students aged 11-16 or 11-18, covering the National Curriculum, GCSE, and A-level. Upon completion, you'll earn a postgraduate qualification and be recommended for Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). University sessions focus on teaching methodology reflection. We're committed to enhancing your skills and strongly advocate for dynamic, inspiring language instruction to foster future generations of lifelong language learners. All our interactive sessions demonstrate effective teaching practices led by enthusiastic, expert tutors and guest speakers. Your university instructors blend exceptional teaching experience with cutting-edge educational research insights. Our extensive network includes partner schools and colleges, many collaborating with us on research initiatives. We collaborate with diverse institutions—comprehensives, grammars, special schools, and sixth form colleges—to tailor placement opportunities to your specific requirements.
