The PGCE Secondary program in Economics and Business Education prepares you to teach students aged 14-19, covering the National Curriculum, GCSE, and A-level requirements. Upon completion, you'll earn a postgraduate qualification and qualify for QTS (Qualified Teacher Status). During university sessions, you'll explore teaching methodologies, cultivate your unique instructional approach, establish personal goals, and critically assess your lesson planning, delivery, and evaluation. Our program bridges the gap between subject expertise and practical teaching skills, translating educational theory into classroom practice. Our faculty includes accomplished educators and GCSE/A-level examiners, alongside a renowned team specializing in business education research and publications. We collaborate with partner schools, where experienced teachers and subject mentors enhance your learning by sharing practical teaching strategies and subject-specific guidance. These university sessions will equip you with fresh, innovative approaches to enrich your classroom teaching.
