The PGCE Secondary (Business Education) program equips you to instruct business subjects for students aged 14-19, covering the National Curriculum, GCSEs, and A-levels. You may also teach related disciplines often handled by school business departments, including computing, IT, accounting, and key vocational business certifications. Upon finishing, you'll earn a postgraduate credential and be recommended for Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Campus-based workshops will help you analyze instructional approaches. You'll have chances to cultivate your unique teaching methodology, establish individual goals, show initiative, and assess your lesson planning, delivery, and evaluation. Our program bridges the gap between subject expertise and teaching techniques, turning educational theory into practical application. Our university instructors bring specialized knowledge as accomplished educators and examiners for major GCSE and A-level boards. You'll learn from a faculty renowned nationally for their research, teaching, and publications in business education. We additionally collaborate with skilled teachers from partner schools to enhance university instruction, including guidance from subject mentors who will strengthen your content knowledge and offer pedagogical advice. The campus sessions will provide fresh, inventive approaches to implement in your classroom teaching.
