This three-year MSc (Clin) Periodontology program emphasizes diagnosing and managing periodontal conditions. Students will acquire expertise in assessing and addressing periodontal issues while honing their research capabilities. The curriculum covers designing studies, gathering information, performing basic statistical evaluations, and drawing conclusions from findings. Potential research topics span genetic factors, microbial studies, or dental material sciences. Students gain from our collaborations with the Cochrane Oral Health Group and WHO's Cranio-Facial Anomalies Treatment Center. Additionally, the program prepares graduates for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh's Restorative Dentistry Membership examination.
