Our MSc in Bioinformatics and Systems Biology explores two interconnected disciplines that align with the expertise employers in both academic and industrial settings are seeking. As biological data collection shifts toward a systems-based approach, bioinformatics is evolving, creating demand for professionals skilled in both areas. Significant progress has been made in bioinformatics, including identifying related sequence families across DNA, RNA, and proteins. Yet, our understanding of biological functions is transforming quickly as research expands to cellular and organism-wide perspectives. At these scales, we examine not just individual components but also how networks of interacting elements function as integrated systems. This MSc program captures these dynamic advancements, offering a comprehensive curriculum led by pioneering researchers in bioinformatics, genomics, and systems biology.
