The curriculum combines biochemistry and molecular biology knowledge with technical skills in programming, statistical analysis, and computational biology, preparing you for diverse research careers.
The Teesside area in North East England serves as a significant center for the Life Science industry, hosting both established corporations (FujiFilm Diosynth Biotechnologies, GlaxoSmithKline, Hart Biologicals) and growing enterprises (Absolute Antibodies, StreamBio, Hexis Labs, Quantum Dx). Located near CPI's National Biologics Manufacturing Centre and our professional development facilities, the University's National Horizons Centre (NHC) forms the core of an outstanding life sciences network. Instruction for this course takes place at our Darlington campus's National Horizons Centre.
