The MRes in Health and Social Care provides comprehensive training in research theory and methodologies essential for applied studies in modern healthcare and social service settings. This program caters to professionals aiming for research-focused roles within health and social care sectors. Many course modules overlap with our MSc and PhD offerings. Students will develop practical skills for implementing research findings in both individual practice and organizational settings, guided by expert faculty from diverse fields such as nursing, social work, psychology, medicine, and allied health professions.
While primarily delivered through online learning, the program includes two mandatory four-day on-campus study sessions (introductory and winter schools), plus one mid-semester study day during each of the first two semesters.
