The Chemistry Department provides diverse research opportunities across multiple disciplines such as biological chemistry, organic synthesis, computational chemistry, materials science, magnetic resonance, structural chemistry, radiochemistry, environmental chemistry, nanoscience, and various life science fields including biochemistry, biotechnology, genetics, and neuroscience.
Our department features cutting-edge facilities with modern laboratories, advanced equipment, and excellent spectroscopic services. Each researcher receives guidance from both a primary supervisor and a pastoral advisor.
Beyond research infrastructure, postgraduate students enjoy access to a dedicated graduate common room, computer cluster, and comprehensive training programs covering laboratory safety, emergency procedures, library resources, and communication skills development.
