The MEd Psychology of Education is a prestigious one-year full-time or two-year part-time master's program. It focuses on key psychological principles as they apply to educational settings. Participants will hone their ability to critically assess contemporary research, theories, and practices in both psychology and education. This MEd program serves as a springboard for careers in educational psychology, whether pursuing a Professional Doctorate in Educational Psychology, embarking on academic research (such as through a PhD), or advancing in school-based educational roles. The curriculum equips students with fundamental psychological knowledge tailored to educational environments. You will: engage in self-directed and collaborative learning and research, cultivate analytical skills to assess current psychological and educational research and methodologies, and qualify for the British Psychological Society's Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership.
