The MA in Anthropological Research equips students to conduct doctoral-level studies in social anthropology. This program offers comprehensive instruction in diverse research methodologies while guiding participants in crafting well-grounded research projects with strong theoretical and methodological foundations. While mainly serving as preparation for PhD studies, the course also functions as an independent master's program to enhance social research capabilities and develop thorough knowledge of ethnographic techniques and perspectives. Participants receive personalized mentorship from a social anthropology specialist, supplemented by support from a secondary advisor. The curriculum includes these mandatory components: Issues in Ethnographic Research I and II, Postgraduate Research Seminar, Independent Theoretical and Ethnographic Analysis I, and Introduction to Quantitative Methods.
