The Master of Research in Historical Research is a one-year program designed to equip postgraduates for research-focused careers while allowing specialization in specific historical areas. This is accomplished through guided independent study modules and supervised skills training. Each student receives a dedicated supervisor to tailor their curriculum according to personal interests and academic needs.
Our program readies students for advanced research by:
- Designing projects, formulating research questions, and presenting results
- Teaching both qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques
- Providing hands-on experience in examining primary sources with research methodologies
- Enhancing proficiency in using bibliographic tools and database systems
- Strengthening critical analysis abilities through written and oral exercises
