Our Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Social Anthropology program is one of the specialized tracks available within the BA Social Sciences curriculum. This pathway is perfect for students seeking academic flexibility or wishing to explore particular themes like racial dynamics, social stratification, criminal behavior, or religious studies through multiple disciplinary lenses. The program's adaptable structure allows you to engage with at least three different disciplines during your first year, then focus more intensively on your chosen areas of interest in subsequent years. The curriculum encompasses six key disciplines: Criminology - Investigating the root causes and societal impacts of criminal behavior. Philosophy - Exploring fundamental questions about knowledge, morality, and existence while developing critical thinking about human reasoning and ethical frameworks. Politics - Analyzing systems of governance, power structures, and political institutions. Quantitative Methods - Applying statistical analysis and data interpretation to social phenomena. Social Anthropology - Comparing diverse global cultures and social structures. Sociology - Examining societal organization, including patterns of inequality and daily social interactions.
