Our specialized BA program in Spanish, Portuguese, and Latin American Studies provides comprehensive training in written and spoken Spanish and Portuguese, with the additional option to study Catalan. Following your first year, Portuguese becomes optional, allowing you to focus primarily on Spanish, maintain an equal balance between both languages, or emphasize Portuguese by your final year. The curriculum also includes optional Catalan studies.
