The BA in German and Spanish offers an in-depth study of the German language while allowing students to delve into German culture, linguistics, history, and literature. This program prepares you with the necessary skills to excel in German-speaking settings. Additionally, you'll gain a solid foundation in Spanish language and culture, with the option to study Catalan. German Our core German language courses (available for both post A-Level students and beginners) are enhanced by diverse subjects like linguistics, along with cultural and historical modules that use German materials to strengthen language skills and deepen understanding of German-speaking regions. Spanish In addition to Spanish language studies, you can examine various aspects of visual culture (including film), regional history, linguistics, and literature. The wide-ranging expertise of faculty in Spanish and Latin American Studies ensures a uniquely diverse and comprehensive curriculum.

A-level ABB including one of the languages to be studied GCSE Applicants must demonstrate a broad general education including acceptable levels of Literacy and Numeracy, equivalent to at least Grade C or 4 in GCSE/iGCSE English Language and Mathematics.
